Service Description

The initial visit is paramount to the methodology of Functional Medicine. It is a life history, starting with before birth. Everything in our life affects who we are as a person and how we react physically and emotionally to internal and external stressors. The initial consultation is 90 minutes, it is here that health-illness triggers and perpetuators of disease are uncovered along the life history timeline. During this visit, the medical provider learns YOU holistically! Identifying key areas from birth to current age that have contributed and continue to create dysfunction and illness. A nutritional exam is included, primarily focusing on skin, hair, nails, oral cavity, abdomen, muscle- fat distribution and body habitus. Together, achievable health goals are formulated and a nutritional food plan is provided to remove inflammatory triggers contributing to GUT dysfunction and poor overall vitality. Cost includes access to the clinic's HIPPA compliant portal; messaging with the top provider; discounted professional grade supplements through a FDA approved facility called Fullscript. Diagnostics are not included in cost but billable through insurance: Functional medicine biomarkers, chemistries, anemia panel, minerals and thyroid studies, if deemed necessary, are ordered through Quest or Lab Corp. Genova Diagnostics is used for the comprehensive stool analysis, hormonal, genomics or metabolic testing. Trio Smart is used for SIBO testing. Great Plains Laboratory for organic acids test and mycotoxins. HSA/FSA cards accepted. Superbills provided after services rendered upon request.

24 hour notice. No show visits subject to charge. If no show for comprehensive initial evaluation, deposit subject to no refund.
